Snow holes
Ok, today's exercise is snow holes. Decided to go out into the Goyt valley and try out some snow holes in the snow dunes which have built up over the weeks. The snow is really compact and difficult to dig, this is not an easy task. In the middle of a shit snow storm it will be taxing and energy sapping.
All in all a good exercise, a taller dune would have made things easier. The Black diamond shovel did its job, and it worked well.
