Yards of fun

LWere will one rope lead you, into 60m of pure fun or pure hell it's your choice. Ours was the latter.
06:00 up shower breaky, arrive Bamford 08:30 ish, cold, very cold. Walk in to warm up. The rock and grass still a bit damp from the chilly night we've just had.

First run of the day straight in at Severe 4a, super warm up and I mean warm up. The temp must have been in the minuses in the shade and just above out of the shade, mega chilly. Anyway the sun is on it's way round and alls looking good.

Next up is Bamford Rib HVS 5a 2*, super route all the way. Crux is either the start or the top, not sure as they were both equal in tech grade we thought. However if a vote went on it I reckon the start would get it.

Bamford rib HVS 5a

Start right of the obvious crack in the centre then trend right slightly then back left onto-an overhang to the top.

Lead the route to the right first thing into the holy tree left then out. Fingers were nailed with cold, didn't fancy the HVS to start, however climbed the route clean as soon as the sun was out and fingers warmed up.

John putting good moves in on Bamford Wall.

Bit of top rope ing before we go.

6b move on the overhang.

Super day but had to leave early, ish. The madding crowds were arriving so were off.
