in the quiet zone

Off for a bit of navigation training on Rushup edge then out over to stanage for a bit of Trad. Arrived at the popular end but moved on down towards the plantation due to the crowds. arrived at the middle section above the plantation car park. around YMCA area.

Dean on Right Unconquerable.

Dean lead this route in fine style, no issues. I took second, tricky exit onto the top. No option other than to belly flop over. 

Great day all round left Stanage around 19:30, superb day even thou it was high winds.

The PIG un PINT

Great days climbing yesterday, busy in the Peak thou. Went through millstone and on to Lawrencefields due to heavy traffic on the crag.

Ran three routes at Lawrencefield, dean on a first lead at HVS 5a ( meringue) I took (Tyrone) at VS 4c with dean finishing with a great lead on the hard E1 route to the left of Tyrone, taking the layback crack. Very tough Finnish on little crimps.

No pics unfortunately, only the beer shot at the end in the Millstone pub on the way back.
