This morning the day started with an early rise and a cup of tea, then checking the clock, 08:45 Dean rings. B up in a mo, ok we r on. Meeting Cliff (Cliff Lowther) our dear friend from over to the east somewhere(Saxon Country)at Stanage popular for a spot of climbing.
Oh yeh, this picture may return with the added note, oh my toe hurts. Lynn saying, oh ya big bairn.
Anyway, cliff arrived on time!!!!!!
We arrived at 10:00, alls good. I even saved a space for the Volksmobile.
So enough of Cliff of Roxcool. http://www.roxcool.co.uk/ let's get down to what really went on at Stanage.

Cliff lead Lynn up Hollybush crack in fine style. Lynn followed with super technique and some very photogenic shots.
The chalk shot.
The confidence shot.
The silver fox shot.
Prior to this Dean sent Straight and Narrow, variation of Narrow Buttress at HVS 5a. Great lead with a superb finale.
I think loads more went on but it just went by on the wind as everyone was having such a good time. Great to meet new people and catch up with old friends.
Oh yeh, it's not over yet.
Swimmin un pub.
Clifford and Dean, along with the lovely Lynn decided to go wild swimming at Dale Dyke with oops forgot his name, oh yeh and her name and her mates name as well. Anyway, wat the hell, they all went swimming and we met up at the pub. The Strines @ Strines. Super pub with super food.

javascript:startPicLens(11112646); the food was superb. As you can c.

So, why was our day at Stanage so good. Easy really, good friends following the same path enjoying life. It's not hard, it's just that most people make it hard. So get climbing.
